variations on hot cocoa flavors March 10, 2010 Fayth Noyes (southern New Hampshire, USA) I was worried when I first tried the hot chocolate k-cup for my mini keurig, thought it would be watery. I was pleased to find this was not so, but still felt it was lacking something. I love chocolate, and if you do to try this, how about a mounds bar in a cup? Simply add a dash of coffemate cocoanut creme, for an almond joy, add equal parts of coffemate amaretto and coconut cream, its heaven, fellow chocolate lovers!
Very good tasting hot chocolate February 14, 2010 Tim (Northern VA) Enjoyed it very much. One thing is you have to have the Keurig set for the tea cup size to get the full flavor. The middle setting, 7.25oz, is not as strong tasting. Some here didn't seem to mind and preferred to have the bigger cup. I would put some marshmallows in the bottom of of the cup and push brew, and you have a nice cup of hot chocolate with a creamy marshmallow layer on top.
Watery, very processed/fake taste February 2, 2010 E. Platas (Los Angeles, California) Despite the generally weak reviews, I gave this a try because I love hot chocolate and the convenience of the Keurig. Unfortunately, I have to agree with most reviewers who gave this low marks. It is weak and watery and has more coconut oil than actual cocoa. If you don't mind the fake hot chocolate made with water and those little instant envelopes you might not mind these so much, but I won't be purchasing these again.
Very weak flavor January 30, 2010 Liana I'm not happy at all with this cocoa. It's the weakest I've ever tasted. I add a little cream to help, and have given it a good try, but it's just NOT GOOD. I'm going back to Timothy's, which is far more flavorful. Additionally, I notice it seems to clog up my k-cup holder more than other cocoas I've tried. I generally don't leave bad reviews, but this was just plain NOT worth the money. The seller was very good however, I have no complaints in that regard. I just wouldn't buy this brand of cocoa again.
Lovin the Green Mountain K Cups January 25, 2010 William C. Cardinal These K Cups have great flavor at an affordable price. One of the best bargains so far...
